Metric generation and stochastic tomography was a research project in integral and stochastic geometry, conducted from 2018 to 2020 as a thematic research grant of the State Committee of Science of Armenia (grant no. 18T-1A252). It investigated the generation of measures in spaces of lines and planes together with problems of stochastic tomography — reconstructing functions and convex bodies from their integrals over lines and sections, the mathematics that underlies Radon-transform methods used in computed and photoacoustic tomography.
